Artist's thoughts... My intent here was to create a floral that is more abstract than I usually paint. Second, I wanted to create white flowers with lots of color while keeping the illusion of white intact! This was a very wet-into-wet painting, meaning that I didn't stop to let the paint dry as I was working. Very fun and spontaneous!!
