Artist's thoughts... I did have a reference photo that served as the basis of this painting. I couldn't come up with a name and posed the question to my Facebook friends. One response that stood out above the others was 'Body and Soul'. The thought behind the name is that the aloe plant is used for medicinal purposes to heal the 'Body'. The beauty of the orchid is unparalleled and feeds the 'Soul'. Thank you to my friends who always come through with fantastic and thoughtful suggestions!!!
