Artist's thoughts... This painting began with an idea of a sunrise in a window. I wanted to 'look' at the sunrise, but from what vantage point? I just started imagining what that sunrise was shining in to.....the kitchen became an old country kitchen, an honest to goodness country breakfast.....first things in much simpler times. I hope this painting sparks warm memories or memories shared.
